Golf Platja de Pals golf course is built along the coastal dunes overlooking the Arenals de Mar stretch of beach, on land covered by an enormous pine forest planted over seventy years ago. Mr Fred Hawtree was again instrumental in bringing the plans of the Perera-Coll family to fruition to create one of the premium golf courses Spain has to offer.
Many top class competitions have been held here, including the Spanish Open, Catalan Open, Spanish amateur and other professional championships. Naturally the umbrella pine trees play a large part in this magnificent course with narrow-tree lined fairways and doglegs to test even the most experienced player. 18 holes, Par 73, 6,222 meters
