About the Editor

My name is Helen Palmer, editor & creator of Costa-Brava-Spain. The Costa Brava site came into being because of our move to live in Barcelona, Spain. Our children play tennis and are currently based here, doing their schooling and tennis together at an academy specialising in tennis.

On daytrips to discover the surrounding countryside, we fell in love with the Costa Brava, as it reminds us of Cornwall, England where I was born and brought up.

Dramatic cliffs with pine trees clinging to the sides, sweeping down to tiny, sandy coves with sparkling colours and friendly people.

Purchasing a pretty villa on TorreMirona Golf & Spa Resort so that we could spend weekends and holidays away in the peace and tranquility, we decided that we wanted to share this very special part of the world and to remind people about how lovely it is here.

So, Costa Brava Spain was born - a perfect sister site for my Tailor Made South Africa Travel site creating unique travel plans to South Africa. We take care of all the planning based on your special wants and desires, so that all you have to do is pack your suitcases and bring your passport!
